Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the VoiceDump mobile app (the "App"), developed by Asya-AA ("we"), collects, how it is used, and your rights. The data controller is Asya-AA (asya-aa.com).

1. Data we collect

Voice recordings: the short audio (up to about 30 seconds) you record when you tap the microphone button. The microphone is used only when you start a recording.
Text and cards: the transcript of your recording and the tasks, shopping lists, appointments and notes created from it, including your edits, completions and reminder settings.
Account information: the App first signs you in with an anonymous ID. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account name, email address and profile photo link.
Device information: a push notification token (FCM) to send notifications, your time zone so reminders fire at the right time, and your app language.
Purchase information: if you buy Premium, the subscription type, status and expiry date. We never see your payment details; payments are handled by Google Play.

The App shows no ads. We do not access your contacts, location or photos. "Add to calendar" only opens your calendar app; it does not read your calendar.

2. How we use data

To transcribe your voice and split what you said into cards,
To store your cards, sync them across your devices and show lists you share,
To send reminders, the morning summary and similar notifications,
To enforce the free daily limit and verify your Premium membership,
To keep the service secure and fix errors.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Your recordings and cards are not used to train AI models.

3. Service providers

Your data is shared only with the following providers, under their terms, so the App can work:

Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, database, file storage, notifications, server functions; data is stored in the EU, Belgium region),
Google Cloud Speech-to-Text (transcription),
Google Gemini (Vertex AI) and, as a fallback, Anthropic Claude (splitting the transcript into cards),
Google Play and RevenueCat (processing purchases and tracking subscription status).

These providers may process some data outside Türkiye and the EU (for example in the United States), under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

4. Retention

Voice recordings are deleted from our servers right after they are transcribed.
Cards and account data are kept until you delete your account.
When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Purchase records we are legally required to keep may be retained for the period the law requires.

5. Account and data deletion

You can delete your account and all your data in the App under Account → Delete my account. If you cannot access the App, follow the steps on the account deletion page.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored encrypted on Google's infrastructure. Each user can access only their own data.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us at the address below to make a request.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will announce significant changes in the App. The current version is always on this page.
